Week 1
My name is Timothy Purvis and I live in Henderson, NC. This is my initial post on this blog that is related to the Dallas Cowboys. As many of you know today is the first day of the NFL season and my cowboys will be taking on the Cleveland Browns in Cleveland this afternoon. I beleive there is no doubt in anyone's mind that follows football that the Cowboys will win this game. I know that everyone out there is not a Cowboys fan and I would love to know who your favorite team is and how you think they will do this season.

I am a Cowboy fan as well. It is hard to get excited about the regular season when the Cowboys and Romo have failed to deliver in the playoffs. I did not watch the Cleveland/Dallas game but from the highlights they looked pretty dominant. I expect 13 or 14 wins in the regular season. The year will be judged on bringing home the Super Bowl in big "D" anything less will be a let down with their team and talent.
I am not a big Cowboy fan but I live them. The game they played against the Browns was complete dominance and I think they are going to have a great season this year and by the way Romo showed his ability to stay in after taking a shot like that to lead them to a touchdown shows the character that he has and how his team is going to rally behind him.
I am a Carolina Panthers fan but I have a good deal of respect for what the Cowboys have accomplished in their history. I think this year's Cowboy's team is very talented but they have to get over the playoff slump they've been in. At this point I have to wonder if it's not playing in their heads a bit.
Great blog! The only way it could be better is if it was supporting the Colts. LOL! Just kidding! My husband is a Cowboys fan and I am a Colts fan so we have a lot of fun picking on each other at our house. Good luck to your Cowboys this year!

I am a panthers fan but I grew up loving the Cowboys but when the big three retired so did I as a Cowboys fan.
