After Week 5

So after the loss to the Redskins, which should have never happend, the Cowboys played the Bengals on Sunday and were able to squeeze a victory out with a 31-22 win. With Romo looking like he has forgotten how to throw a football the game was put into the hands of Marion Barber and the rookie Felix Jones to run the football. They combined for over 170 yards rushing and one TD. Next on the schedule is a trip to Arizona to play the up and down Arizona Cardinals.

I find it hard to get excited about Dallas this season. They easily could have lost 3 games so far. As usual, the season is going to come down to who gets "hot" at the end of the year like the Giants did last season. So, dismal performances like the last 3 weeks do not make much of a difference I guess. Wins are wins in the NFL. Dallas just needs to make the playoffs and we will see if Romo and the 'Boys can win a playoff game this year.

The Cowboys continue to stay lucky. Eventually their luck will run out, and I just hope that comes in the playoffs like usual. I believe that this might be their best team in a while, but I reserve my opinion until they win in the playoffs. Arizona could be a good challange for them, but I doubt it.
